I’ve been going through the archives and decided to post some photos of a few football games I covered earlier this year.
Thanks for stopping by.

01.03.10 Colts vs Bills
I was walking in a winter wonder land… Yesterday I was in Orchard Park, New York to shoot the Buffalo Bills take on the Indianapolis Colts, and boy was it cold. Even with with gloves and several layers to keep me warm, It was still brutal to say the least.
The day did not start off right for me. During warm ups I was not paying attention and took a blast right in the face by a football that had sailed through the uprights from a 50 yard away. Bam, slapped in the face by pigskin. I dropped me too one knee. Then another. I staggered back towards the photographers area, but didn’t make it all the way. Luckily there were a few paramedics in the tunnel.
They took a look at me. I didn’t have any headache and wasn’t dizzy. There wasn’t any NFL logo plastered to my face. After a few minutes I was good to go. Thank goodness.
By kickoff the temperature did not get any better. However, I was able to get a few images from the game.
Although he didn’t play long Peyton Manning came to town and played for a few series. While he was in, he still tried to confuse the Bills defense.
Neither team could move the ball effectively in the first quarter as the snow started to fall heavily onto the field.

Buffalo Bills tight end Joe Klopfenstein (87) can't hold onto the football while being defended by Indianapolis Colts linebacker Ramon Humber (59).

Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams (95) tackles Indianapolis Colts running back Donald Brown (31).
During the second quarter, the Bills were able to kick it up a notch. Fred Jackson did his part and rushed for over 200 yards on the day.

Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson (22) in action. Fred Jackson finished the season with over 1,000 yards rushing.
Towars the end of the first half, I went up into the stands to get an general view of the stadium covered with snow.

A general view of the Buffalo Bills attempting a field goal while playing the Indianapolis Colts in the snow at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, NY.
When it was all said and done it was Lee Evans and the Buffalo Bills celebrating their victory over the Colts.
Patriots at Bills
An interesting game. The Bills have not beat the Patriots in so many years. I thought that this might be the week, with
the Patriots missing 4 key starters. 2 on defense, Vince Wolfork and Jarvis Greene. An 2 offensive linemen, Dan Neal and Matt Light.
On the Bills first drive it got pretty interesting. However, after driving 80 plus yards, the Bills we only able to get a field goal. Then the rest was history. New England went on the beat the Bill 17 – 10. New England didn’t do much all day. However they did get help from the Bills defense which gave the Patriots short field position on several costly pass interference calls.
Bills vs Saints
Earlier in the year, the undefeated New Orleans Saints ventured into Western, New York to take on the Buffalo Bills. The Bills were able to hang tough, but in the end, the Saints were able to pull away with the victory in the 4th quarter.
